I Just Bought A New Home.... What Colors Should I Use To Decorate With?
Studies have shown your personal preference in certain colors can not only indicate the type of person we are but also what motivates us with stunning accuracy. Simply by incorporating certain color combinations in your home or in your outfits, you can enhance certain moods and motivators.
This study was originally created by a human resource manager. The initial purpose for the color study was to find a way to accurately use color to evaluate a particular job candidate and determine whether this person not only right for the task at hand but also if this person would also get along with the other existing potential co-workers.
The study involved over 5,000 profiles and was conducted in psychological clinics throughout North America and is one of the only color studies to be published in a medical journal, the American Journal of Psychology.
New Home... New Attitude... New Color Scheme?
So you may be wondering what does this have to do with decorating my home? Well the study also revealled that certain combinations of color can energize and inspire you in different ways. Below are a few different color schemes that can enhance your goals for your new home, your new year and/or your new life.

The study revealed that depending on whether you feel you would like to attract inspiring opportunities, create a seductive response, or you want to feel more confident in your potential, your attitude can be enhanced merely by the combination of colors you surround yourself with.
Below are a just a few examples:
If you would like to get motivated to Accomplish Your Goals, you want to combine certain shades of Yellow, Blue and Red and before you ask, "yes" certain earth tones are a shade of blue:
If you would like to Relate Better To Others you would benefit by combining and incorporating green, purple and orange into your home.
